A licensed security guard must complete basic security training which is managed by the Justice Institute of BC. The course covers legal matters, fire suppression, effective note taking, conflict resolution and conflict resolution. Once the training is completed the applicant must file with te Solicitor-General in Victoria. After a successful criminal record check the the applicant receive a security guard license.
